If you have an interest in active living, disability or inclusion, you already know how important advocacy can be. ALACD has developed some excellent advocacy tools to support individuals and organizations change attitudes and opportunities. We have also included other training materials, background information, networking ideas, communication strategies and inspirational bon mots created by other organizations that can be used in advocating for active living opportunities. Advocacy Resource Package

This three booklet package identifies the four phases of the advocacy process; prepare, plan, act and evaluate. Includes successful advocacy examples and worksheets to help address advocacy issues (bilingual).





Change Through Advocacy Video

This video profiles the successful efforts of individuals as they advocate for change and inclusion in community programs and is a natural supplement to the Advocacy Package. Available in French and English.
